I just picked up this PYE radio at the local Goodwill store (London, ON) and I am trying to figure out what model it is. There is no inscription on the back panel where the model # should be listed. I have scoured the web for photos but could not find anything that looks exactly the same. I am pretty new to vintage radio restoration, so I might not have looked in the right places. I have attached a few photos, but I have more if that helps. Didn’t want to swamp the forum with too many files.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you go to radiomuseum.org and look for Pye (Canada) radios you can compare the tubes in your radio to those listed and you might find a match.
    Good luck.

Tight, there are only 20 Pye from Ajax radios on the site and only 7 have pictures. Model 53-D is not it, but has s similar chassis, has the power transformer farther forward. Tube lineup is all 6 volt heater filaments, two 6BA6, 6BE6, 6AT6, 6AQ6 and 6X4, those are the two tall tubes in yours. I’ll bet the schematic will come close enough to help you refurbish your Ajax Pye.
Ask questions and you eventually get answers here. (:>)
