Alberta

The Alberta Chapter, is based in Edmonton but we have members from many areas of the province. We have monthly meetings from September through April and a summer BBQ. Our meetings are are usually held at 1:00  on the third Sunday of the month at Telus Community Ambassadors, #101 10459-178 Street, Edmonton during the spring, fall and winter, plus a summer Bar-B-Que. Please check the events page for details. Our monthly meetings feature a learning seminar covering topics from radio restoration, vacuum tube audio, or technology history. Occasionally tours are arranged with visits to special technology related sites or places of historic interest.  We also hold workshops to learn from experts on repairing your antique equipment or share your expertise with other members. We have also produced a series of DVD’s on a number of vintage radio-related topics (available to purchase), including:
  • History of Radio
  • The All American Five Radio Circuit
  • Plastic Radio Repair
  • Vacuum Tubes
  • Power Supplies
  • Northern Communications
  • The Fine Art of Radio Alignment
Join us at one of our meetings for interesting topics, great conversation about the hobby. We often have fantastic door prizes and a great opportunity to buy and sell your gear!
