Hello, I am looking for a B.C. Antenna Coil assembly Rogers part # 6098 Listed as T1 in the schematics. It was used in the following models (maybe more) Model 13/70, 13/86, 13/80, 13/85, 13/95, 13/96, 13/105, 13/106, 13/115. Those model numbers correspond to the following chassis “Types” 8R721, 8R821, 8R822, 8R991, 8R992, 8R1091, 8R1092, 8R1191. Pictured below. Maybe someone has a junk parts chassis. It has a 100 pfd mica cap across the top. This one has a burnt primary coil.

I see from some of the schematics you have referenced that it may have a double primary winding or a single primary winding…I had the same issue with a Rogers chassis last year which had the single winding primary on a similar coil form.
The primary winding was chewed on by a mouse…so I simply removed the bad winding and placed some tape on the coil form and added about 80 to 100 turns of 40awg wire to form a new primary loop. The wire loop width was about 1/2 of an inch and close to the secondary winding…not the prettiest job but it worked well. The DC resistance I think ended up being around 30 ohms?…I will try to dig up a photo of it but in this situation this type of broadcast coil is not that critical for the BC band.

Here is the final product…no pretty but it works…it is for a Rogers 6R932…the T1 coil for the BC band.
