Does any one selling RCA 816K console? Willing to pay a reasonable price. I’m in Toronto.

Finally I found the Radio in Lynden, Ontario. It was a long search. Once I finish working on RCA 811K I’ll start this project.

Hello: That is a beautiful radio, sure looks to be in good shape. I have one exactly the same and I would be interested in your restoration
when you get around to it. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Leon for your nice words. Yes I’ll post the progress of the restoration once I start. In fact this radio was in working order when I picked it up. But I have to restore it electrically and the Electric tuning too.
Right now I am working on RCA 811K which I got from US. Electrically I have restored it and now I am working on cabinet. I have a video on YouTube for this radio after I service and repaired the Electric Tuning of RCA 8111K.
In fact I did add the link here yesterday night but somehow my post was deleted. May be they don’t allow putting a link here. I will PM you the link. Please have a look at the video and comment. Thanks.

posting a link isn’t prohibited and no posts were deleted by admin. perhaps it didn’t save for some reason.

I have that one too. bought mine in running condition. It is fascinating to see it tune itself in and the sound quality is very good. mine needs some cosmetics and I should have a look at the underside to see if it is safe to keep playing it but this is a fun radio.

    Hi Phil,
I have a feeling that I forgot to press Submit button 🙂
PS: I recently acquired a RCA Q25 Table radio with 5 Bands. This more is very hard to find. It should be here in Toronto this week. I found it in New Brunswick with an old gentleman. Once it is here I’ll post some pictures and details.

The RCA Q-25 is posted in Show "n" Tell. Please have a look.
