When I first got interested in radios I scoured antique stores and anywhere I thought I might be able to buy them and bought many project radios. I have many parts such as chassis without radios, cases without chassis, speakers, boxes of tubes. parts. I have some duplicates. i have quite a few that are complete but perhaps in need of some extensive cabinet repair.

I now find myself in the position where I have too many projects, they occupy a large percentage of the house. I am still keen on restoring them but I can envision concentrating on some of my favorites, which include cathedrals, 1930’s radios with clocks. Tombstones with eye tubes. Bakelite radios with unusual shapes. I’d like to pair down a bit in order to have more workspace and keep a few of my favorites.

If there are others in BC who are finding themselves in need of something new to work on, feel free to drop me an email to discuss. I could bring anything of interest to the next club meeting on November 21st. I am open to trading. If you have a restored radio that you’d trade for several projects that might work. If you like to collect a particular style or brand or era, let me know what it is that you like to collect.
