I have a question for all of you tube Guru’s out there, i have recently purchased a box of vintage tubes, in that box were 2 white boxes saying “audiotron” on them with a marking of “50” these tubes were made in Canada, when i open each box the tube in there has markings on the base of “Cunningham CX-350” i tested each tube, they both test at 48 out of a maximum of 60 and minimum of 33 and no shorts on my stark tester. Now i know these tubes are hard to come by and are very sought after, my question is why are cunningham tubes in a radiotron box? these can’t be the original boxes? Or is it a good possiblity to what i have here are indeed in original box? Any input would be appreciated! thanks!

Cunningham tubes were developed by G E .

Marconi and G E tubes were marketed by RVC in Canada.

Part of that is in the Murray book, Early Development
of Radio in Canada, 1901- 1930.

I believe motion picture sound amplifiers used those.
    Radios, not to common.
