    Hello Folks,

New member and first post here although not new to electronic restorations. A friend has asked me if I would restore the radio from a Majestic model Jacques Cartier, chassis number 28. This radio has been in his family since purchased new by his grandmother. Based on its appearance, I believe that it has not operated for a few decades and aside from the dust it doesn’t look too bad. I’ve tested all critical components (transformers and coils) and have discovered two problems, one minor and one major. The primary of the output transformer is open and this is minor as I can find a replacement for that. The major issue is that the primary winding in the antenna coil for the broadcast band is open and these are not easy to find. I’ve attached a copy of the schematic and photo of the radio and chassis in hopes that someone might own and be willing to part with or sell the chassis, parts or complete radio. A photo of this console radio does not exist on Radio Museum but the smaller Tombstone version does and this is the link to that radio: https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/rogerstube_ten_50_ch_28.html . Really hoping to hear from you.

    Cheers,
    Jim

    Hi Jim
I sent you a Private Message I have a Deforest Crosley battery set with the coils.
I don’t know if the antenna coils are the same.
Please let me know if you got the Private message.
