This is a very early triple triode dating from 1927, made by the Clearton Vacuum Tube Co. It is described in ‘Saga of the Vacuum Tube’ by GFJ Tyne. It has no type number. Installed in the single-tube ‘Baby Emerson’ loudspeaker set, the one in my set unfortunately has the tip snapped off so none of that vintage 1920’s vacuum remains. The tube has four pins (two heater, P3 and G3) as well as four connections around the side marked as P2, G2, P1, G1. Any additional information (eg, filament volts) would be appreciated as would someone producing a NOS Multitube… The filament has continuity, reading around 2.6 Ohms.

    Every hopeful, Gerry
