A collector is looking for a competent electronic technician to restore electronically a 1933/34 RCA model 140 8 tube radio. I have done some ground work on it. I have tested all tubes, they are all OK except a 53 which is quite easy to get. The power transformer has good resistance on both legs, so assumed OK. This is on a push pull configuration, and I have not gone further to
test them. Even if they are open circuit, I can help you to get them. Under the chassis everything appears to be original and untouched. The collector will award you generously if you can have it restored.

    Hi Ken:
I have been restoring vintage radios for 30 years and have done many in that time. If the radio is in the Edmonton area I could help.
