    Thinking of a new twist on an old concept based on the Zenith Transoceanic radios. Their cases look like retro luggage that looked neat and were ruggedized for traveling.

    Does anyone know how I could go about building a case similar to the Zenith Transoceanic?

    Looking forward to any and all feedback.

    Does it have to be like the Transoceanic? What about if you run with the retro-luggage idea? Which raises the question of what kind of radio do you plan on installing in it?

    It doesn’t have to look like a transoceanic exactly. I want to try a twist on an old concept using newer technology. So just wondering if anyone mass produces retro style luggage? Alternatively, does anyone know what kind of materials were used?
