I am restoring what I believe may be the very first “Bullet” styled midge ever built by NE (Model 5408, S/N 1001). The speaker cone was badly torn when I got it, and I haven’t been able to repair it successfully, so need to find a like replacement. This is the “pedestal mount” type 4″ 4ohm speaker that NE used in many radios around this time. (An L bracket spot welded to the back of the magnet, but no flange). The Jensen speaker (P4V) listed in the parts list is a flange mount speaker, so I’ve no idea how that is supposed to be a viable replacement (although I have a couple of those.) Several different NE part numbers would be acceptable, as long as its the right mounting style.

Also looking for any OPT’s that correspond to these radios – believe the Jensen 2410 would be acceptable, but of course original NE would be better.

    Appreciate any help. Thanks.
