Northern Electric Model 5508

Just completed this Northern Electric Model 5508 ” MIDGE” It was originally painted a rose hammer tone, and I wanted to repaint it either rose, green or the blue hammer tone colors that were offered by N-E originally. I could not find any other hammer tone colors ,other than silver or gray or copper locally . I did find some hammer tone paint of suitable colors, but it was from India or Australia and shipping cost was prohibitive. So for now it staying unpainted brown, which it was offered in. If anyone has or knows of a source for hammer tone spray paint in one of the Northern Electric colors, please let me know.

Hi Ben. I found some hammertone colours at my local Rona.I think there was a green one. Good luck.

Thanks, which Rona were you at? at mine in Coquitlam they only have silver.

Hi Ben. It was the local Rona here in Prince Albert SK. If you look online at rona.ca they call these “hammered” spray paints.
