Here are some of my radios, in my basement. I have more upstairs and even more in the garage.
I can move around and know where everything is , so I am not quite at the stage of a hoarder.

Impressive Dan! – and I thought the basement in our last house was ‘radio heaven’. Our current house has NO basement… so, after downsizing my collection (and our house), we now have nine in our lounge, one in the master bedroom, five in the spare bedroom, seventeen in my den/workshop and another ten or so in the garage (and a smattering more for sale in local consignment stores).

WOW,WOW and more WOW!!!Those are beauties Dan and thanks for posting them. I just love the look of being able to step back in time to that very time period simply by looking at a photo. Wonderful collection!
    Cheers,

So Amazing! I can see you like the consoles a whole lot. Incredible collection. Most of mine are in the furnace room downstairs where my shop/lair is. I notice tags hanging from a lot of them, Is everything you restore for sale except your personal collection ?

Garykuster, I have the tags on them so I can readily tell people the model and the year. Some of them are for sale,
because I have 13 more in the garage, that need the cabinets done.
i just enjoy restoring them ,and after a few years I sell them so I can get more to work on.
There are a couple that I will not sell, and two of those are my rogers 10-12 and my Buckingham.
Her are the photos of those.

Wow! They are to die for. I have never seen such detail in the inlays before. They are both works of art in their own right. Are there pictures of your radios in the collection here? I have run into an image of your RCA Globetrotter online somewhere when I was researching mine.

Since I am not good with computers, I can’t find a photo gallery on this forum.
I would put my photos there if I could find it. [the photo gallery on CVRS]
Maybe you can tell me how to do that.
I find it rather hard to navigate this forum, but I do like the way we can post photos.
I also like the fact that it is Canadian, and we can share out knowledge with others that have the same radios.

    Dan,
If you go to the homepage of the site, you can click on ‘About Us’ in the blue banner at the top. Then scroll down to Photo Gallery. There are several great radios there, but I couldn’t see a way to add pics. Someone here must know how to do it.
It isn’t the easiest forum to navigate that’s for sure. I belong to 2 other automotive related forums and both are much easier to navigate. That personal message I sent you was basically to see if it would work.
So naturally, your reply went into my spam folder. Sometimes I get updates from my posts here, other times the replies don’t show up or go into my spam. The issue is with my Yahoo mail. nothing to do with this site. Nothing is perfect, but as you point out, Canadian.
    Regards, Gary in Montreal
