I just picked up this Westinghouse model 1029X ,for a good price of $50.00.. I have it’s sister model 1029Y.
The finish will need some work especially around the bottom, But overall it’s in good shape.
I have to stop buying consoles,,so far I have 19,but I could not refuse this one

Atta boy Dan – that ‘s a good START !! 😀 That matches what I have in my rec room – hope you’ve got more room somewhere – you won’t be able to stop …. someone (wife) will have to make you ! That’s interesting – you’re in Calgary aren’t you ? I was always under the impression that radios were kinda scarce out there.

Yes I live in Calgary,but I keep looking on Kijiji and I find them from Medicine Hat to Edmonton..
I am getting a little more picky in what I buy as far as modeles are concerned. There are a fair amount of radios for sale but not much if what I like..

Those consoles usually have a perfect sized nice flat surface for a table top radio 😉
