CVRS MemberI just received this Rogers 6R932 today.. I bought it last month and my son delivered it from Saskatoon to Pincher creek and then to me.. It is almost stripped, and the marks on top are from the paint stripper can sitting on top.. It will come out nice.. after checking everything, it does work and picks up all stations.. I still have to do all the caps and clean pots,
band switch and all that stuff. I really like the Rogers cabinets , made of real woodApril 4, 2015 at 1:33 pm #6755
Joseph BentoForum ParticipantBeautiful radio, Dan. I look forward to following your progress through the repair and restoration. Will you keep the 2X3s (assuming it has them) or modifying for a single 5Y3?
I wish Canadian radios were more plentiful south of the border. 🙂

CVRS MemberThe radio came with a 5Z3. It has not been modified and the output is two 6F6’s. As usual , someone has been in there and did a real bad job of soldering and taping things up with a scrap of electrical tape. So far I have taken out the volume control and cleaned it. Next will be replacing caps. It does have the 24 volt tuning bulb which works.

Joseph BentoForum ParticipantBeautiful work! I’m sure it sounds as good as it looks!
I assume the dial is on a turret that rotates for the selected band?

CVRS MemberThanks Joseph.. yes the dial is a little different than most. It is the same as the Rogers 10-12.
Here is a photos of the dialAttachments:
