I brewed this up just before Christmas. Uses D cells for the filaments and 9 V batteries for the plate. PCB is a perfect fit for interfacing the TO or clone power plug.
Went with a plastic case to show what goes inside the box of tricks. You could also use wood or other materials to construct your battery box.
