I recently received a Marconi radio phonograph and it does not work. When plugged in the radio lights up but doesn’t do much more than that. I’m completely new to vintage radios and want to keep this for sentimental reasons but would love to get it fixed.
Any suggestions for repairmen in the Calgary area and approx costs for repairs would be greatly appreciated.
I live in calgary and I restore and collect antique radios.
I have been on this and other forums for a number of years

Good day. I am also looking for a shop to repair five of my AM transistor radios. Please message me if you find a shop that does this type of work. Thanks in advance.
Sean.
Hi,
I’m also interested in the restoration of my RCA Victor M45 radio. I live in Calgary and would like to get it restored soon. Could you contact me on my email at .
Thank you,
I have a 1938/39 Marconi Model 161 that I have had for about 14 years. Beautiful floor-standing radio with many old Calgary, etc. pre-sets like CFAC, CFCN. Also CJCJ and a couple of USA stations KOA, KPO. Have turned it on a couple of times, got a few stations low volume but it obviously needs a tune up. Then looking to sell it to a great new home! Dan Walker…you can contact me at Cheers, Brian.
