Just got a Marconi model 70 - Canadian Vintage Radio Society

This came up on Kijiji in Calgary last night , so I picked it up this morning. It cost $184.00 in 1936/37.
A Marconi model 70 with 10 tubes, and it is all there except for one knob. The cabinet will have to be redone in the spring.
I will get to the chassis in a week or two.
I like the Marconi radios, for their cabinet style and general overall looks.
i am in the market for one knob……………….

What do the 2 white dots at the bottom do?

Here is a link to Marconi radios and if you scroll down to model 70 , then click on it [or any other model] you can see the photos and on the model 70 it explains [possibly ] what the two dots are . I hope this helps
