    I had a fellow who was at my garage sale last year and about three weeks ago he phones me and said he had a radio to give me .. it is a Marconi model 38 with 11 tubes. I recapped the radio and it plays nice .. The cabinet was in pieces and after putting it together I find that there is no speaker board..
    Now this radio has two eight inch speakers. what I need is a photo of what the speaker board looks like because there is not enough room for the two 8 inch speakers to go side by side.
    I am going to try to post the photos of what I have.

    Weird why only the speaker board would be missing. I’d go with your solution anyways as no one will see if once the face is back on. 🙂 Looks like a lovely set
