I have a majestic model 7M632 and I need the solid knob that goes on the left.
The right knob is actually two knobs, but the left one is one piece.
Why do people loose the knobs from these radios???????????
Hi, My name is Danny,
I’m new to this forum. I’m looking for a Capehart model 147 interstage to restore an amplifier. If ever one of you has that piece it would be wonderful.
Thanks.
danny when you posted , for this you should start a new thread because right now you are piggybacking on Dan’s request for knobs thread. No biggie.
I think you’ll find that there are others here who are a bit more electronics savvy but have a look at this one. the interstage transformers have many winds of super fine wire so sometimes they go open. I have a feeling you can substitute one of these although it is perhaps a lot smaller physically. But before you buy , I’m hoping someone else can review it for you and perhaps advise if it is indeed a valid workaround. I just wanted ot make the suggestion but Im not completely sure you can use this item. best to get a second opinion.
im fairly sure I found myself in the same situation but it was 10 years ago. the one I replaced was much smaller and I think it was this one from AES.
