If any one has any information about the Marconi model 84 dial glass, please let me know.
I ordered the pieces of glass with the station numbers on them, but I need to know
how the glass is installed. There are three or four pieces of glass.
When I got the radio all the glass was broken, and it came out in pieces.
    Any help is very welcome

You will need to remove the chassis from the back and replace the printed glass witch will attach to it then a plan piece will fit on the front with some clips and screws. I just finished a model 118 and that’s how mine went together and I would think yours will be the same. where did you get the printed glass as I have a radio with a cracked glass and the only place I could find that would do it (at a high cost) was radiodaze in the U.S. cheers Gordon

    Thanks for the reply.
I have recapped the radio already , and am waiting for the dial glass
I did get all the information about the dial glass from a fellow member
This is a little more complex than you think. There are three pieces of dial glass and I have ordered them from Radio Daze
It is quite different than a model 118. I had a 117 , 138 and an 85, but this is different.
I had the make a curved front glass out of a special plastic for the model 85 and also for this model 84.
    Thank you for the reply
