CVRS MemberI just picked up this Rogers Majestic, model R131, and I can’t find a schematic for it.
Is the schematic for a model R 130 the same?
thanks

CVRS MemberChassis looks the same. I would say yes. I must have restored my R-131 without the schematic. Also have a look at Philips 920, they look like twins ans again, chassis looks the same.

CVRS MemberHi Dan
I have attached five pages of, Rogers Majestic Service Data. Pages 1 – 4 is the original service data for the Model R130 and page 5 is an addendum placed with the original service data. Whoever looked after this manual has written in pencil R131 on the bottom of the schematic. I had a quick look at the two schematics and could see at least one change that was made.
Enjoy

CVRS MemberHi Dan
I see that the system did not send page 5.

CVRS MemberThank you Bruce. That will be a help.
I have the chassis out of the cabinet, and so far I don’t see how they got the dial string in place ,
as part of it stays in the cabinet when you remove the chassis.
I have one if these years ago and i hope the system for putting it together comes back to me.
Thanks

CVRS MemberI had a look at my chassis and I see that it has a center tap on the output transformer.
The schematics for the model R130 do not show that .
The schematics for the Philips 920 are closer as they do show three electrolytic caps which my radio has.
It is interesting that the Rogers 130 does not show three of those caps. [only two]
The Philips also does not show a center tap on output transformer.
It is a bit confusing, and if any of you guys has any ideas let me know
Thanks

CVRS MemberBruce’s page 5 is the schematic of the Philips 920 and does show a tap on the primary of the output transfo.
