This radio belongs to a friend of my sons.Someone had been in the chassis years ago and sort of messed it up.
It is not and easy radio to work on and several times I got frustrated. But with the help of Peter Heembrook
in Nova Scotia I did get it running.
The capacitors are in metal cans and with out some special paperwork that was on Pacific TV I would not have been able to get it running.
It is called the Grandmother clock radio because it is about 4 inches shorter than the Grandfather clock radio.
I looked at the clock and since I don’t do clocks it will stay the way it is [not working]
The chassis is also different from the Grandfather clock. Here are some photos.
