    Hi All,
I recently purchased this old radio, Problem is, I don’t know anything about these units. I’ve done some reading on this site and others, and it seems that plugging it in was a bad idea if I didn’t know if it was set up correctly. It may be missing the lower part of the cabinet as well. It was bought at an auction, so I have no information on its history. I like the look and design, which is why I bought it, and I thought I might make the cabinet into something else until I saw how old it was. I don’t want to destroy something that has any value to someone.

Can anyone recommend a shop in the Calgary area that can take a look at this one and see if it’s worth repairing?

Thanks for any comments or suggestions.

    Hi Gary”
I live in Calgary and restore these radios as a hobby.
I have been doing it for a number of years, and I am a member here. I will not promise anything,
but you can sure give me a call and I can help you sort out things. We can see what may be needed to get your radio up and working.
Do not attempt to plug the radio in.
You can sent me a private message.
