I have an old Rogers Majestic radio Type 7M832 with a wooden cabinet. It stands 39" tall, 23" wide and is 13.5" deep. I am wondering if anyone is able to advise the age of it and what approximate value it might have or where I can go to find out it’s value? It is in solid and fair condition other than the top veneer has lifted, the front tuning tube is broken, one or two knobs are missing, and it has few scuff marks on the exterior. I know that it was in our house when I was a kid in the late 50’s so I suspect it was made in the 40’s or early 50’s.
I tried loading up a photo of the radio to this forum but the file with the photo is apparently too big for this program. I can e-mail it to anyone who is interested in looking at it.
Any assistance given will be greatly appreciated.
That is a 1937-38 radio. I am not sure of the value but the defects listed should have a fair effect on the value.
