hello,
Been collecting and restoring vintage transistor and tube radios for at least 25 years. My latest project was a complete rebuild, recover, recap (some) alignment, well the whole shebang for my Panasonic RF-8000. You can see this resto at
https://antiqueradios.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=402485
My latest project is a Yaesu FRG-7000 which, after a full spa requires a new LED clock display (pics) so I am looking for a source for a parts radio or the actual part if someone has a parts radio. I have listed the request at the wanted section also.
I hope someone can help as the clock display is always on and the first thing you see when you look at an otherwise perfect radio. Disturbs my OCD
A radio I am restoring is this small all american 5 by Stuart Warner. Recapped the wax and restuffed the electrolytic can (photo). New lable reproduced on metal paper to emulate the original. Not bad sensitivity by the 5 tube standards. Just waiting for a paint job on the cabinet.
Some photos of other radios in the collection.
Cheers
