    Hello from Ontario
I am restoring a Hammarlund HQ 120-X communications receiver and discovered that the power transformer needs to be replace. I have the schematic but there is no mention of the transformer specs. The transformer has a primary, two filament secondaries, one 6.3V and one 5V for the 5V4 rectifier and of course the main center tapped secondary. The transformers dimentions are center to center in both direction 2.5 and 2.5. Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

Did you find a transformer yet? I checked my Hammarlund to try to determine a match but it is much newer than yours being a HQ-170 but if you are still looking give this seller a try

This one is from an HQ-129 but perhaps it is the same transformer and his has a part number painted on it. Yours might be the same or he might even have one from a 120.
