Actually bought this Radio Table last fall, but a family member that had picked it up for me in Alberta, brought it to a wedding we were both attending in Ft. McMurray, so I could finally get my hands on it! First time I clapped eyes on it since I bought it. it’s in great shape and came with a glass top. 1 dial light is burnt out, but you can still see the “Phantom” dial effect. No actual working drawers. the vol is bottom left and the tuner is the bottom right. Will need a compete electronic refurb, but it’s complete. Would have been an expensive set in 1946 @ $85.00 Not that valuable these days, but it’s in very nice condition overall. Most have a damaged glass dial which completely kills the “Phantom” effect

Very unusual radio indeed. I am trying to wrap my mind around how this dial setup works. There are lots of hit on this set on Google. It looks more like a sewing Machine than a radio. It seems Bendix had other models of this radio, including a Phonograph/Radio Combo, as well as a chair-side combo. I was also surprised to see that the value of this unique set is so low on eBay. Below is a link to Schematic and service info on this set, should you need it.
