Hi, Offering a RCA Radiola 20, model AR-918, range 550-1500 kilocycles, made in US 1925. I have little knowledge of old radios so not sure what parts are missing. In doing research I found that this is quite a rare radio and does have the voltage meter added, which is hard to find. This radio was exposed to damp, and has lost a lot of it’s veneer. One side panel remains, with missing pieces, but at least you can see what it’s supposed to look like. This radio is very Art Deco, with brass plates and knobs. Also has the battery set up guide inside. It’s a table top model and has 4 wooden feet, not attached. Voltage meter has broken glass, not sure if that can be fixed? I would be nice if it could be restored to it’s former glory. Would need extensive wood work on the outside, to the veneers. There’s also warping, scratches, and loose veneer. No batteries or tubes? inside. Measures 19″ X 16″ X 11″ high. Lid is oak but has gouges, that would be covered by new veneer, or could be filled. Not sure what other woods were used. I see parts for this radio on ebay, asking prices are very high, just the name plate is listed for $40 CAD. Price is $30, cash only. To be picked up in North Vancouver, 5 mins from 2nd Narrows bridge, easy to find. Thanks for looking!
