For sale is this antique Graetz Grazioso 41016ES stereo receiver with phonograph (turntable), and the Schaub and Schaub-Lorenz Stereovox-T 688-1 external speaker. This (export) unit was made in Germany for the North American market, i.e. 120 volts. Asking US$349 or best offer.
The stereo receiver cabinet is about 29.5″ wide, by 14.5″ deep, by 33″ tall … not including the external speaker. Detail information on these two items is on the radiomuseum.org website.
This stereo reciever still works, even though it has not been used for more than 35 years. This set originally belonged to my wife’s parents. Her dad purchased it NEW in early 1960’s in Montreal Canada. My wife inherited it in the late 1980’s, and it has been with us (as a showpiece in our home) ever since. We have very infrequently turned on the radio/receiver for very brief demonstrations to our curious guests. Serious collectors may want to refurbish this unit for regular use.
Buyer will need to pick it up from our home (in Bellingham, WA) or arrange for it to be packed and shipped to buyer’s destination, at the buyer’s expense. I will be happy to coordinate this process.
