Marked “83” on the glass and “Made for Canadian General Electric Limited” on the base.
The Type 83 is a 4-pin full-wave mercury-vapor rectifier, used in vintage radio, amplifier, test-equipment and power-supply applications.
This is an older Canadian GE example with readable original markings. Shows normal age-related spotting, surface wear and storage marks.
