I’m not a vintage radio aficionado, but I have a very nice old TV I thought I’d post here to see if anyone is interested in taking for free. I would hate to have to dispose of it but I have no place for it and it’s proving difficult to find any folks that are interested in taking it.

It’s a tabletop TV with about an 11″ diameter screen, possibly model # G2355. It doesn’t quite look exactly like that model, but it’s the closest I’ve been able to come in matching it. The label with the model and serial number is faded and unreadable except for a portion of the serial number.

I’m going on 51 years old and this TV has been in my family as long as I can remember. It used to work until it was stored for a number of years in the hay loft of a barn (kept dry). Its been in the basement of my house for the last 17 years. I don’t believe it’s ever been opened or worked on, so it should be entirely intact.

I just want it to go to someone who wants it and can appreciate it. I live in Vernon, BC and if you’re interested I would prefer you arrange to pick it up. I do travel to the Vancouver area occasionally and could bring it down with me if anyone from the coast is interested in taking it. As a last resort I might entertain shipping it, but the recipient would have to pay for all of the actual cost. It’s very bulky and heavy, so I imagine it would be quite costly to package and ship. I would also not assume any liability on damage or condition upon arrival.

If you have any questions please contact me and I’ll do my best to answer them.

    Thank you.

Hi, I would be happy to take that TV off your hands. I collect vintage Tv’s and radios. Could I send my cousin to come pick it up ?
