Hi Group – I just inherited a Federal Model 59 dated 11 Apr 1924. As I am unable to restore it I am selling it to someone who would appreciate it and give it a good home.
The front panel is in good shape, white lettering, all knobs rotate.
Case sides and back have light scratches. Top more heavily although again lightly scratched commensurate with sliding a speaker on it throughout its use. Again they should buff out, no gouges.
The interior looks good. The tube assembly has been slightly modified to accept type 30 tubes vice the original 01As (apparently the only difference is changing the filament voltage to 2V vice original 5V.)
Light cardboard Tuning Instruction sheet included. (Top Center piece missing, but actual instructions are complete. Could someone suggest why that piece would have been removed?)

Photos available upon request. Location Victoria, BC.

If anyone is interested, please contact me at: or 250-391-0558

Hi again – Found a photo of the label in question on the web. The missing section shows the "Set Control Knobs" layout of the front panel.
