Forum ParticipantHello All
Like a lot of Vintage items, whether that be old radios, books or other colectables, they never always get thrown away or should that be too often thrown away, sometimes they just sit stored somewhere, gathering layers of dust. I know that McGraw Hill Publishing, published “Elements of Radio Servicing” a book which I often go to when I need something related to the Servicing or Theory about Vintage Radios. I also am aware that McGraw Hill also pubblished, a number of, 16mm Films, covering the material covered in the Hardbound Book Edition. So my question is this, has anyone ever viewed any of those Films, or seen them For Sale. As I have a couple of 16mm Projectors as well as a couple of 8mm Projestors, which also have been gathering dust for years, it would be interesting to gain access to those Films. I think there were maybe about 5 or 6 Reels I am surprised that someone has not already transferred them to DVD. Just a thought here as I recover from my defective wrist, which prevents me from doing much at the work bench..

They say “Haste makes Waste. Here I am again, and in only just a few minutes later from my first post. I have found access to what I was looking for. Not the actual Film, but DVDs.
Should be very interesting indeed.Ralph

Forum ParticipantAnd here I am again, Alas I have discovered that the disk or disks, I have been spouting about, only covers the Book it self, ‘No Video.’ Darn it!!! However there Is a multitude of other valuavle informat on these disks, and the price is right. So I guess all is not lost. So back to my original search for the actual Film or DVD rendition.
