I have been contacted by Grant Smith in Nakusp, BC, who is selling an Eddystone Model 958/7E. This is a ‘top of the line’ sold state receiver dating from the 1970’s using Barlow Wadley technology rather than frequency synthesis. The /7E variant was one of the later models with a digital frequency readout and is quite rare in Canada (the usual variant in Canada is the /3 one, built for the Canadian Govt.). The receiver has a missing mains fuse cover and Grant cannot power it up, however, he would be willing to ship it prior to payment (buyer pays the shipping), buyer fixes the fuse, and then send him the agreed amount (presumably if satisfied all ok). The set appears to be in good cosmetic condition, price $600. Grant can be contacted by email at ‘gscanmoreman at shaw dot ca’, or by phone on 587-436-4142. An article about the similar /3 variant can be viewed on the Eddystone User Group website, here: https://eddystoneusergroup.org.uk/Tech%20Information/Best%20Receiver%20Eddystone%20Ever%20Built%20-%20The%20EC958.pdf
