Hello, I am new to this site and new to antique radio restoration.

I searched on the internet and found no information on this radio that I bought recently.
The only thing I know is a Canadian General Electric co.limited model 300
The electronics seem to be in good condition.

I would like to know if anyone knows this radio

    Thanks.

Hi and welcome, Serge. Can you provide a good image of the orange sticker on the inside of the cabinet?

There is no orange sticker inside, only the diagram and a plate which you can see in the last photo

Serge. This set is not seen that often in the table model like yours. They did put this model in a couple of floor model variations with a built in speaker, I have seen more examples of these over the years. I think Les was asking about the Stromberg Carlson block condenser. Nice Canadian Set!

Thank you Citco, and I’ll put the right photo.
I took the measurement of the 1.9uf capacitor which is still good.

I see now that the orange label is on a capacitor – I wasn’t sure what it was in the original photos and I thought it might help get information about the radio. I searched at radiomuseum dot org to see if I could find any information about the radio. Nothing there.
