I would like help determining the location of a dial cord pulley.
The 1939 De Forest Crosley 8D892 Handel uses 3 dial cords. One cord changes the band (AM + 5 short wave), another changes the station within a given band and the third cord connects the spindle that changes the station to the automatic tuning motor spindle. The third cord is missing. I found a pulley with a spring in the cabinet, but don’t know where to attach it. I believe it is used with the third cord.
Does anyone know where to attach the pulley/spring and how to connect the dial drive cable between the motor and station spindles? Thanks for your assistance.
