I recently found this cool condenser tin at a local antique show in Orillia Ontario. Not normally something I would buy but I just loved the look of it.

That is so awesome!…just what one needs for storing new capacitors etc…

I must keep my eyes open for similar items this summer while searching for radios and parts in Nova Scotia.

Canadian Pickers would have been all over that if they had seen it. Glad you got to it first. Great score!

Very nice find! – looks like they were running a bit low on stock!

Over the years I have managed to acquire several resistor and capacitor storage boxes (Aerovox, IRC, etc)- they do turn up from time to time in ‘antique’ stores and the like, as well as at ham radio rallies etc.at reasonable prices (and on EBay with less-reasonable prices!). Radio-related advertising signs and clocks also turn up from time to time in similar venues – I have an RCA clock/illuminated sign that I picked up in a ‘junk’ store in Pitt Meadows a few years back at a reasonable price.
