Hi all, I’m underway with my Canadian Philco Model 76! (48-464) I have repaired the mounting holes for the chassis in the plastic case from behind using JB weld. Being the early days of plastic, I think Philco vastly underestimated the strength of plastic and held the entire chassis, speaker and all in with only 2 small screws from behind and none through the bottom. One screw is awol, but common enough to find.

Here’s where I need some advice. The dial glass lens is reverse painted, then “shadowed” with brown paint on top. Some of this(on top) paint is missing or damaged. Any way to repair this? Also, why do the countries listed on the SW band appear to be crossed out? below(if it works) are pics.

Update! Found a repro lens at Radio Daze.
