    My 97 year old mother in law has a Blaupunkt Arkansas 59 she acquired from her late brother. I got it powered up and listened to the FM band (wonderful sound) however when I pressed the off button the unit did not power down. Waited a few minutes and unplugged it from the wall plug, waited another minute and plugged it back in and the receiver lit back up again.
    Can anyone school me regarding how to power down this magnificent radio without pulling the plug? Thanks
