I have a question about the Atwater Kent radio model 19 built in 1924.One of these just sold on Ebay and the seller said it was a rare model as only 5700 sets were made. I don`t know where he got his figures from but can any one confirm that information? My set has the s/n of 3751 so it falls in that 5700 range. Any help here is greatly appreciated and thanks for taking the time..
Hey Wayne not sure on the 5700 but it is a fairly rare set. It was replaced by the model 20 which they produced in two different versions. Stuart.
Thanks very much for your reply and information re: the AK model 19 set. I
ve done some research on the 1924-1926 production numbers and 5698 of these were manufactured in those years. I think Ive got the facts straight and want to say i very much appreciate your time and interest in this matter Thanks so much Stuart.
