Hello. I need to find out the solution to refinish/repaint the chrome trim outline on the front of a Electrohome clock radio. The width of the chrome is 1/16 of an inch. I was able to find out on the web that there are chome pens available with 1, 2, or 4mm tip widths for restoring automobile instrument panels but I do not know if they would be acceptable. Any advice would be appreciated.

The Chrome pens work beautifully, I would also grab a gold one for good measure. Good for detailing Zenith crests etc. Micheals or any decent craft store would have it if you want to see one before ordering on line etc. Gary

    Hello Doug

I have never used the Chrome Pens. But another thing you could try, is purchase a roll of Chrome/Silver Automotive Pinstriping tape. Should be able to get it at CTC. Amazon carries it on line. It will require a steady hand and a Scapel Tool. but the results will look brilliant. You could also apply a piece of bright Aluminium Tape over the Viking Emblem. Press it in well for the 3D effect, and trim around it. No one but yourself will ever know. Same goes for the Lettering.

Thank you for your suggestions. When I get back into the city I will try to locate these items to give them a try.
