1949 Marconi 252FM includes copies of the manual, works fairly well, FM could use an alignment maybe a couple of 6AU6 tubes. Output is push-pull 6AQ6, 5U4 rectifier.
Recapped in 2017 includes 20+ Orange Drop caps, replaced a burnt resistor in one of the IF transformers. I recently bought a NOS 6AL7 tuning eye tube, needs repair to socket wiring, shines bright all the time so I’ve left it unplugged. Something is misswired or shorted.
How many were built? The serial number is 3 digits, 293.

This radio weighs over 40 lbs. I do make monthly trips to Duncan and sometimes Saanich.
