I have a set of radio catalogs from an AM radio station that operated from 1939. I wound up with some great Northern Electric, United Tubes, GE catalogs and a few other documents from the same era.
These will cost a bit to ship, but I am not looking to make any $$$ – just want them to have a good home with someone who would appreciate them.
If anyone is interested, I can get some pictures together.
Hi Brian, I could be interested in the vacuum tubes. Are the tubes from two manufacturers, Northern Electric Tubes and also United Electronics Corp Tubes. I am not sure where you live so maybe you could send the pictures and information to my e-mail address then we could correspond with each other.
Hi Brian where do you live just wondering for shipping and some pictures would be good also thanks.
Hi Brian, I would be interested in some or all of these items ….if you could provide a list or some photos that would be great.
Here is a link to images of the catalogs – they have not been opened in 80 years, and they are in great shape. I have leafed through them while taking pictures, and they are VERY interesting. Not really tube catalogs as I had originally thought – mostly broadcast equipment. One is a general electrical supply catalog with typical home/commercial electrical components like wall switches, conduit parts, etc. Pretty cool!
I am located in SE BC, and get to Calgary a lot – could drop them off to someone local.
