    I have searched the internet and can’t find a photo of a Northern electric console radio model c801
    I have a chance to buy one , but I have not seen it yet, so I would like to know what it should look like.
    The one I might buy is 100 miles away, so a photo would be nice.
    I have a model C800 which is the tombstone model.
    Here is a photo of my tombstone .

    Hi Dan
    I don’t have a picture of the C801 and there is not a picture in the Northern Electric service manual. There are pictures of a good many of their radios but they missed your model. I have attached some information from a Northern Electric service manual. The C800 and C801, according to the parts manual, uses the same chassis which includes the complete dial mask assembly including the dial mask and housing. So what you see for knobs and dial assembly on your C800 will be the same as the C801. I have attached two copies for the C800/C801 Specifications and dial assembly. I have also attached a copy of a 830/831 showing how Northern Electric has configured their Console and Table models.

    Thank you for the information, Bruce.
    I do have the model c800, which is a tombstone.
    I suppose that the knobs for the console would be the same.
    The one I am looking to buy does not have the proper knobs, and I know they will be hard to find.
    I also have the cabinet for the model C830[ but no chassis] ,and I guess I will have to see if I can get a photo from the seller.
    But you know how they can be sometimes.

    Hi Dan, my name is Greg Surbey and I have a NE C801. I am actually looking for knobs as we are missing two. Do you have any idea where I could find them?
