I am looking to build an unusual clock and I require a motor for it. The motor would operate at 120 V, 60 Hertz. I would like to mount a microswitch on it so that I get an output pulse for every minute of operation. Who knows? Maybe there is a 1 rpm motor out there with the switch already mounted. The motor has to be synchronous so it can track the line frequency. Looks like a 3 W model is more than sufficient to do what I need.
Does anybody have anything like this, or know where I could get one?
