Hello, I picked up a Marconi console model 84 and it is missing the speaker, knobs, also there are 2 pieces of wood that make up part of the front grill. It forms a “U” with a left and right vertical pieces. I have the right (looking at the radio it is broken at the bottom, but the left is missing. I was wondering if anyone has a donor radio that is already in bad shape, to part out.
Thank-You
Tony
Hello Joseph, I hadn’t quite given up hope that I would find some parts for this set. There was one on kijiji last year in Burlington that had what I needed but sold before I could get down there. Here is a picture of the grill. I know Marconi had several different variations of grill work. The set has 2 outer bars that curve down and meet at the bottom. The existing one isn’t in the best of shape, it has been repaired at the top and there is a piece missing where it would join up with the left hand one at the bottom.

Tony: I am sorry I have the right radio . But I need the same side to fix my other radio. If it was me I would make that piece I don’t think it would be a problem. I bought this radio shell to fix my other two radios . My radio two at the bottom is broken and missing a piece where they join together I’m going to use the grill cloth also to fix my other radio . The radio I thought you had was the smaller one. Tony just make it it’s just two pieces of wood .
Bye now Joseph
