    I am wondering if anyone has found a satisfactory method of applying gold to Knobs and Lettering? In some cases maybe gold paint would do the trick. In others, the gold is shiny (metallic).

    Some radios also have shiny (chrome) knobs.

    Does anyone have a satisfactory way of renewing these materials?

    some radios like the crosley D-25 have gold plated knobs and are often scrubbed clean of the gold. There are some gold plating kits available or you might check a chrome shop like the ones that do custom Hardley davidson parts and such.
