    Ok I recapped and replaced a few out of spec resistors on my Marconi 8105. Fired it up with my Variac and get 250v DC! Perfect but no reception. I injected audio before and after the first audio amp located ahead of the push pull pair. I get audio but not loud. Same with injecting IF. I also injected an RF signal into the front end with the same low audio level. The eye tube just starts to glow when I latch onto the signal. Haven’t tested the tubes yet. Anybody know where I can get them tested in Kelowna? I will go plate by plate to measure signal gain through the circuit later tonight. Any suggestions to a tube neophyte?

    Disregard this post. I found seveal tube testors and a source of some 10,000 tubes here in Kelowna. I think he has 30 versions of my radio type alone.
