Looking for technical information on the Mershon condensers, in particular model M814 which is a 4-anode unit.
Been checking old parts and radio magazines online, but no references to that specific number. Anyone have some Mershon literature that might list models and their capacitances?

I don’t know the accuracy, but there is a suggestion that the M814 is a four section of 8 microfarads (MFD or μF) each.

I don’t know the safe (working) voltage rating.

Thanks for the reply, it is that “M” that puzzles me. I’ve been looking at lots of 1920s radio magazines that mention S (for single), T (for triple), D (for double), and even Q for 4-section. I’m guessing maybe “multi- value” might be the M category, as there were indeed some units of different values, which in this case would add up to 14 in total. I may just continue to use 4 capacitors at 2uf @450 and be safe.
